• IP address (for security and fraud prevention only)

• Evaluating your job application
• Contacting you regarding your application status
• Scheduling interviews and follow-up communications
• Complying with applicable legal obligations

We will not use your information for any purpose beyond the above without your additional consent.

Your data is stored in Google Workspace services (Google Sheets and Google Drive) operated by Google LLC, under our service account. We apply access controls so that only authorised staff members can view your application. Files you upload are stored in a private Drive folder not accessible to the public.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure.

5. Data Retention

We retain your application data for a maximum of 2 years from the date of submission, or until you request deletion, whichever comes first. Applications that result in employment are retained for the duration of the employment relationship plus any legally required period thereafter.

6. Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Your data may be accessed by our recruitment staff only. We use Google Workspace as a data processor; Google's privacy policy applies to their services.

7. Your Rights (APPI)

Under Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI), you have the right to:

• Request disclosure of your personal information we hold
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your personal information
• Request cessation of use or third-party provision of your information

8. Cookies

This site does not use tracking cookies. We use browser localStorage to temporarily save your form progress so you do not lose it if you navigate away. This data stays on your device and is cleared after a successful submission.
